You can make your 32 × 48 metal building taller in 2′ increments with up to 20′ legs available. Sides can be left open to be used as a carport or fully closed and turned into a fully enclosed metal building. If you want to buy it as a carport you can leave the gables open, or close one or both gables.
The metal carports and metal buildings include free delivery and installation to Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Delivery is available to most Counties in Florida but you must be a resident to select the FL 170 mph upgrade option because it must be built to Florida building codes.
This size metal carport or metal building requires a telescopic forklift to be on-site when the building is being installed to help the crew lift the structure due to it weighing so much. This lift needs to be able to lift 6000 lbs. and must be able to go 10′ taller than the leg height of the steel carport or steel building. Delivery may not be available in all locations.
Upon ordering the metal building, a 16% deposit is due with either a credit card or by mailing a check. When your metal building is scheduled for delivery 50% of the remaining balance is due. The remaining final balance is due when the steel building is delivered and installed. Once you order you will be contacted and a copy of the order will be emailed to you for you to review and approve, make sure everything is just like you want it.
Your carport will be anchored to the ground with mobile home anchors or asphalt with rebar and to the cement with concrete anchor bolts. The location for the carport must be level or within at least 3″ or we will not be able to install it.
The triple-wide metal buildings are fully braced for additional strength.
These metal carports and buildings come certified for 140 mph and 30 psf. If you are located in a state with heavy snow, we do have 105 mph and 65 psf available for an additional cost. They come fully braced and with mobile home anchors along with blueprint drawings.
Steel carports come with 14 ga tubing, which is 2 1/2″ by 2 1/2″ square tubing, or you can upgrade to the 12 ga tubing which comes 2 1/4″ by 2 1/4″ tubing and has a 20-year rust-through warranty.
These metal garages and carports are custom-built in the size, style, and with the options you want. You get to choose between 16 different colors for the roof and trim colors. And if you close the sides or ends you also get to pick which color you want it to be.
