If you want to add customizable options such as a garage door (we have multiple sizes available), a walk-in door, or windows, they can be added for an additional cost. Upon ordering a metal building at Alan’s Factory Outlet, you will need to put down a deposit between 10% and 17% either by entering your credit card number or by mailing a check, with the remaining balance due when it’s delivered and installed. Final payment can be given via credit card or check for the remaining balance. Once you order, you will be contacted and a copy of the order will be emailed to you for you to review and approve.
We anchor each metal garage to the ground with rebar and mobile home anchors or asphalt with rebar and to cement for free with concrete anchor bolts. The flooring for the steel garage must be level or within at least 3″ of level or we will not be able to install it.
The metal garages come certified for 140 mph and 35 psf. To achieve this rating, the metal building will have a tighter screw pattern and be anchored to support the wind rating. Generic blueprint drawings can be emailed to you upon request within approximately 3 to 4 business days after ordering to help you secure a permit.
This metal garage for sale comes with 14-gauge tubing, which is 2 1/2″ by 2 1/2″ square tubing, or you can upgrade to the 12-gauge tubing, which is 2 1/4″ by 2 1/4″ tubing. The optional thicker 12-gauge tubing comes with a 20-year rust-through warranty.
The steel buildings are fully customizable so you can choose the size, style and color you want. You can choose between 16 different colors currently available for the roof, trim, sides, and ends.

What makes the vertical roof style unique compared to other metal garages is that the metal sheeting on the roof goes up and down to help the snow and rain slide off of it. The vertical metal garage is also the strongest style of metal garage because we have to put cross-bracing on it to attach it to the roof.
