The 20×45 vertical-roof metal carport comes standard with 6′ legs.
You can make your planned 20 by 45 carport taller in 1′ increments, as we have options available up to 16′. You could also choose to leave the sides fully open, partially closed, or fully closed in any way you choose. You could even opt to turn your carport into a metal garage.

Upon ordering your prefab carport online or over the phone, you will need to put down a 10% to 17% deposit with either a credit card or a check sent through the mail. The rest of the balance will be due after delivery and installation. Once you order, you will be contacted and a copy of the order will be emailed to you for you to review and approve to make sure everything is just like you want it.
We anchor the carport to the ground with rebar and mobile home anchors or asphalt with rebar and to the cement for free with concrete anchor bolts. The location for the carport must be level or within at least 3″ of level or we will not be able to install it.
The metal carports at Alan’s Factory Outlet come certified for winds up to 140 mph and 35 psf. To achieve this rating, the carport will have a tighter screw pattern and will need to be anchored to support the wind rating. You can get generic blueprint drawings emailed to you if you need a permit within 3 to 4 days of your purchase.
The steel carports come with 14-gauge tubing, which is 2 1/2″ by 2 1/2″ square tubing, or you can upgrade to the 12-gauge tubing, which is 2 1/4″ by 2 1/4″ tubing. The framing on the optional thicker 12-gauge tubing comes with a 20-year rust-through warranty.
Our carports can be built to any custom size or style and with any other options you may want. You can choose between 16 different colors for the roof and trim. You also have the option to close the sides or the end and choose what color you would like those to be.
