When the time comes to choose a pergola, 12 x 12 is a great size for any property, providing just the right amount of shade. The overall height on this product is 8' 2", and the actual head clearance is 7' 4". The 12 x 12 pergola is made with 2"x6" cross ties, which are approximately 16" on center and 4 2"x6" headers. It has 6"x6" posts, which are actually four 3ply 2"x6" laminated and screwed post. They come with 4 posts, but on the structures longer than 16' get 6 post. You will also get two 3 ply 2x6 corner braces on each post. The 12x12 pergola is perfect for your garden or backyard space.
